Please be informed about the incident which occurred on 16th March 2022.
Between 13:35-14:55 our Operations team noticed a mass slow down for all customers/instances, with a slow response from our system.
The reason of this incident was due to a technical failure on our AMQ cluster.
The problem reported for GDS links was a side effect of this. The links worked but we were not able to forward the messages to SMS instances. Once the SMS instances recovered, we had a backlog of two hours of messages , we separated and processed queued messages in order for different GDS to not wait that long for replies.
During 17th March night time we have performed an upgrade on our servers for the AMQ cluster and added additional resources to the cluster to stabilize spikes on the system during extra load and to avoid any similar situations in the future.
